This year the annual Dean’s Forum event will be taking place on February 27, 2024 from 12-1pm. This will be a hybrid event, taking place in-person at 155 College Street in room HS208 or via zoom for those who cannot attend in-person. Stop by to meet and chat with our acting dean Dr. Robyn Stremler. In-person attendees will also receive a free pizza lunch!
The Graduate Nurses’ Student Society (GNSS) Dean’s Forum will take place on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024 from 1200-1300 EST in HS 208. Meet the new Acting Dean, Robyn Stremler! She will be providing an update and answering your questions about the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing (LSBFN). Deans are responsible for approving faculty hiring, setting the academic policies, overseeing budget, fundraising and other various administrative duties. Celebrating Black History Month!
GNSS and NUS presents: Black Excellence Fatigue: Black Nursing Leadership on February 29, 2024 from 6-7:30pm
The goal of this panel discussion is to discuss the impact Black Nurses have in leadership. To support dialogue in understanding how equity and inclusion impacts nursing leadership. This panel discussion will focus on the resilience of Black Nurses and how to dismantle systems of discrimination.
